Our first boat has left the dock for the October CTC challenge!
It was a PB for me and the first time I have done the 30 minutes in under 2:40. (Big deal for me!). The 30:00 row is my usual Saturday morning routine so I have 4 more Saturdays in October to see if I can post another one that is even longer.
I am fully expecting to be back down in Boat V or VI by the end of the month, but I am happy to be in Boat I for an hour or two!
Anna Rae
seconded, hard graft and the times will come.
Are you following a plan??, if not have google on Pete Plan, simple and keeps you challenged. Worth doing for a few months a year

Hey guys, i've been pretty absent for a while but i'll be picking up erging again as fall kicks in and it's raining outside. Spent a lot of time on the bike. I've only touched the erg once for the past 10 weeks so it'll hurt to start up again but I hope all the aerobic work pays off when i'm at it again for a couple of weeks.

Hahaha, good stuff? I was in a world of hurt yesterday. First time on the erg in 2 months. Somehow it felt like the erg was broken. Had enough air to spare but strengthwise it felt I was pulling an all out effort just to spin the erg up to a 1:50/500 pace
.. I hope things improve rapidly. Came to a 1:58.8 pace for 30 minutes. That would have been an easy effort 3 months ago and was an all out effort now

Hopscotch is easy to learn and predictable.

Jack it has just occurred to me that your writing of posts whilst under the influence of alcohol explains a lot about some of your more cryptic and abstruse contributions to the Forum over the years. Keep it up!

mine @1:59.0 and Terry @2:00.8 - closer to the mark
We are one of only 2 teams with 4 floating boats I think - pretty cool

Check that solid and steady volume out! Nice work, Jack.
Worthy leader on our team challenge board, with only today left on the challenge. We've far surpassed our previous best distance, so well done everyone for the contributions.
I didn't get to the volume I had planned on, mainly because of 2 weekends away from home with no access to a machine, but happy enough to get some metres building up again after a slack recent period.

Greetings Forum Flyers! I'd love to join your team to participate in team challenges. I'm completely brand new to the challenges world, and have been doing just my own thing offline before now. Looking forward to learning how this works!
