Looking for a "weak joints" team

Post by christineinwa » October 12th, 2020, 12:12 pm

Hi all,
I'm new to the forums, and am not having a lot of luck in looking for a team to join for different virtual events. I'd like to find a team of "slow rowers" who may not finish the fastest, but finish nonetheless. I do a lot of steady distance rows and can pack on the KMs, just not at a very fast pace :D

Anyone know of any teams to join? Thanks!

Hi Christine, and welcome to the forum.

I'm not a member of any online (or not online either) team, so I don't know how they work, but perhaps there are some where all you do is log your KM, and speed is not recorded in any way. That way any dedicated rower, fast or slow can participate.

I'm sure someone who better understands how that works will speak up.

Hi Christine

Forum Flyers (team thread here) is always open to new members, and we have a range of levels within the team. We participate in all the Concept2 events as well as some of the externally-organised monthly challenges. All abilities definitely welcome, so pop over to the team thread, say hi, and you'll have joined!

The new member's guide has more info on the various challenges, and how to sign up.
