My first day with my indoor rowing machine

Post by Rowingforfun55 » October 7th, 2020, 4:46 pm

So this is day 1. My excitement is through the roof. I bought a brand new concept 2 rower and set it up myself. I love rowing and hope to whip myself into shape. Any advice for this newbie?

Good luck with it all, stay patient, stay humble and always keep learning. The link that Eric has pasted covers everything you need to start with.

Welcome. Start with technique and take it slow. Before you know it, you be a pro!

welcome indeed - the erg is a great fitness tool
take it slowly to start and go steady - don't race your training
concentrate on technique - read the thread above and follow the links to videos etc - there is a huge amount of useful information for beginners here

I wonder how long the OP retained his/her enthusiasm? They haven’t revisited the forum since the moment of their post!
