Not me... need the heat to escape! I do wear a headband to stop sweat dripping in my eyes and on my glasses, plus wrist bands also to protect hands/grip from getting soggy. Only wear a cap if on the water to keep sun out of eyes.

Hey Team!

A BIG shout out to everyone in this team - You're doing great!

On the 2020 Fall Team Challenge C2 page have a look at the Team Leader Board:

First, under 'Filter', on the right of the page, click the 21 - 50 members.
You'll see us in 4th place at the moment. Very creditable for a new team.
Second, go to the heading at the very right - Average - and click it. This shows the total team meters divided by the number of people in the team.

And guess who is in Second place!?

Go Team 50+! Maintain the rage!

I second that! being 2nd on average for team size 21-50 is very good going. Special mention to David who has already got his 200k certificate! I am having a small rest after a lot of rowing last weekend but will be back to add more meters probably tonight :)

Hi all, apologies for the silence over last couple of days and no updates I've switched over from Android to iPhone for my communications and been dealing with that. Haven't been with ios on the phone for 4 years and it's taking a few days to figure swipe this, swipe that!!!

Thanks for everyone carrying on in the thread without me and posting updates - brilliant.

talking of updates - wow GO TEAM!!!!

We have reached 2 Million metres and well done to David for hitting 200k!!! Incredible!

We have 35 members in the team with 32 signed up to the challenge. Incredible growth!!!

I’ve got an injury and will need to be off for a couple of weeks - I’ll try to add more when I can.

Great work team.
Following on from Pudge's post regarding viewing team placings should you wish you can look where you are placed individually by pressing the individual button adjacent to team and apply the filter.
You then can scroll down 6565 positions for your placing. If you go by your metres thus far and guess roughly the page you can scroll down quickly on the team column checking 50plus.
You know you want to..

The Ancients are away and clear that's for sure... but they do have ultra rowers including Darlene Brennan. Concept2 did a article on her a while back. Anyway... enough surfing... time to get back in the garage!

Yes, I wear a baseball style cap when I erg. (I don't want to get my kippah all sweaty.) I wear it backwards so that when I reach my arm up to wipe my forehead, I don't knock the bill, and have it come off.)

Folks - you can use this page to see how your team are going. Looking just now you are very, very close to Ruderathlet ahead of you. Keep pushing!

You can see the same view of any other team from here.

Just a little gift from the Free Spirits team :D

Fun to watch the meters grow. I had forgotten to check this forum, but dutifully check our standings after every session. I am doing the Beginner Pete Plan and so my volume is going up every week. I decided today to start adding a 1,000 meter "warm up" and another 1,000 "cool down" to every session this week and will double that next week to get the numbers up.
