How are the 'boats' decided?Swittenbrink wrote: ↑July 21st, 2020, 10:28 pmHi!

Each boat seats 5 rowers. The seats can only be occupied by certain categories of rower, as follows:
Seats 1, 2 and 3 are OPEN. Anyone may occupy these seats.
Seat 4 is for LIGHTWEIGHTS. Any lightweight, male or female, may occupy this seat.
Seat 5 is for FEMALES. Any female, lightweight or heavyweight, may occupy this seat.
Boats are filled on the basis of fastest qualifying occupant. This is done automatically and there is no scope for a team to 'tactically' fill its boats.

Re: Forum Flyers
To add to Jack's post, you'll need to register separately at the CTC site. There are some confusing messages about wrong password when you try log in after registration, but try again and it should let you in to record your score. Obviously we're hoping you're thinking of joining our team .Swittenbrink wrote: ↑July 21st, 2020, 10:28 pmHi!

Re: Forum Flyers
You simply post a result and Jack's algorithm is automatically applied to shuffle your result into the right boat.Swittenbrink wrote: ↑July 21st, 2020, 10:28 pmHi!

Self-registration is http://c2ctc.com/person.php (it's a bit clunky as it's how web pages were built in 2005, it doesn't have email verification).
Results are posted on the home page (your name will be in the pull-down (which doesn't work well on a phone) list of users after registration.
If you get stuck send me a private message on the forum.

Thanks for the replies! I previously read the bit about who fills the seats and I already registered. So just input a time! Got it simple enough

Couple Flyers boats awaiting full complement to get in the points. When you post your result, one will float.Swittenbrink wrote: ↑July 22nd, 2020, 8:36 amThanks for the replies! I previously read the bit about who fills the seats and I already registered. So just input a time! Got it simple enough

Haha, posted. Pleased with this one. Would have been a PB if it was a 2k. Maybe the weight of knowing you're impacting others pushes you harder

Re: Forum Flyers
Given that you've posted a time for us, now would be a good time to welcome you officially to the team, Suzanne!
Here is a link to some useful introductory team information, and obviously questions are always welcome on the forum.
Your signature contains some of the useful background info we ask for, but out of interest where are you based? We're a fairly widespread group spread across the world, but always good to see if we can tick off another country along the way.

I read and downloaded the document.
I joined the team on C2 but will add the affiliation.
I am in Colorado, just outside of Denver.
