Great writeup, Dino. I could feel the fatigue coming through there!

I had dialled in a 100km session on the BikeErg thinking I would need to use part of my cooldown to finish it off, but I finished about 10 minutes from the top, so had to quickly fire up a Just Ride. At least ticked off a 15 minute improvement in my 100k PB.

Dave
Well done Dave on the 100km PB!

Very nice Dino, almost a FM! Well done and cool idea to do a live stream :)
Cheers Martin :)
Yep the livestream was easy to do plus was an additional incentive for me to keep going as couldn't bale with an audience!

   ....blimey that sounds horrible so well done for sticking with it and getting it done :)
Thanks Alex... it was just a normal long distance row... if they are too easy you aren't going fast enough!
It was fun doing it on Zwift - you know at exactly the same time you are sweating away there were 3500 other people round the world going through the same pain!

Blimey, virtually an FM with the WU/CD. Well done Dino
Cheers Stu. I did half think about setting up a FM so that if I got to the top and wasn't feeling too bad would carry on, but was happy I didn't in the end! It was quite enough - plus I could just concentrate on getting to the top.

Thanks Anth :D
I saw in a post of yours recently you were finding it difficult to get motivated? You should give Zwift a try (you get 7 day free to see if its for you). The group rides are great... very friendly and well organised. They don't mind a rower interloper! It also nice to sign onto a ride and know you have a time to stick to for your workout. There are many groups that are at an easier pace, e.g. ZZRC.

A long way away from any of these PBs now!!

Nice! I also did the Ven Top route on a rower back in August. I was debugging Android Painsled that day so figured I'd have lots of breaks to fix stuff. Luckily that was the case! Total elapsed time ended u being 2.5 hours but spread out over most of the day. PM5 ended up showing 44k so got the marathon in as well.

I don't think I'm ever going back there... :o
