I am considering manufacturing some, departing from the 3 units I already have. I bought them some 10 yrs ago, prices were good, I should have bought more. Now I want to put a "tandem" vs another "tandem", so I need ONE extra slide but If I succeed in producing something equivalent, there may be people around interested (gyms, clubs, friends). To build "just one" would be just as costly as submitting to the ongoing prices & taxes.

I live in Brazil, where import tax are a nuisance (both the bureaucracy & sending costs through the roof), that's why.

Tried to find slides for sale - anywhere - to no avail (maybe it has to do with pandemia, manufacturers dependending on suppliers... it is the same with bike rollers everywhere)

Looks like slides are not very popular.

There is a great advantage in using them (sp. for us old people) which is, making it more benign on our backspines, but the "learning curve" (and the extra space, and extra cost) may be the detracting factors.

I use slides on my one erg. When I wanted to connect two together I needed one more, just like you. I found setting the farthest end (the end opposite the wheel on the last erg) on a skateboard worked great.
