Congratulations to the 22 Lunies who have finished the Heptathlon...and to our two sport (so far!) finisher, Brett, and our THREE sport finisher Jantuut!
Congrats, Jantuut!! All three sports--that's really impressive!!
And goooo Brett, if you've got your eye on completing three sports, too! (although two sports is not too shabby!)

I was able to knock out the tri-sport. Started ultra low carb last Sunday. Maybe torn my bicep a couple days ago. Ended up being more a test of completion than pushing personal bests.
What I’m more proud of is my 12 year old Maddie completing the bike heptathlon today. She went in order of distance and finished with the 20k today. She wanted to quit the 10k with more than 2k left yesterday but she ground it out. Her confidence was pretty low heading into the 20k today. I talked to her about backing off her pace and how starting to fast can really make it a bear. She backed into off the pace quite a bit but was still a good challenge to complete. She sprinted through the finish line.
At the same time, my little 8 year old, Kaitlyn, muscled through a 4K on the rower. She’s quite a determined little girl.
I thought the challenge would be one thing going in but turned out to be something much different and better on the other side.

Congrats, Brett!! Super big congrats to Maddie!! And Kaitlyn, great job; next year you can tackle the entire Heptathalon. Maybe the best part, Brett, was having your girls participating along side.

That is fantastic, Brett !! And Maddie !! And Kaitlyn !!
K2, I'm already ready for your triumphant return ...
But, in the meantime, I think I need to brush up on my stats ...
Might need some WD-40.

My knee replacement date of 8 June has finally arrived, so I'm turning the stats over to danwho for now. Erg on, Lunies! I'll be back! Bionic.
Good luck, K2!! Can't wait to hear what new adventures are made possible with your bionic knee!
Yes, good luck and take care!!!
We are looking forward to see you back on the Forum and, later, on the Ergs!
Listen to your Dr. on the rehab... This will give Minnie some time to catch up before you zoom around again with your bionic knee
Thanks Dan for jumping in to help out!

Forget anything you might have read.
Knees have come a long way since Aesop's day.
Barely enough time for the erg seat to cool.
Congratulations to all Heptathlon finishers!!! I wish I could call out the new Heptathlon finishers, but the RowErg list has nearly doubled in size in the final day, and is now spread over 76 pages with no sort or filtering options, way beyond the abilities of a junior astrogator. So please, if you are one of the recent Heptathlon finishers, announce yourself, and let us celebrate your accomplishment. With all of today's "10,000" entries, I'm sure there were quite a few.

Great!!! Thanks Chris/Minnie for keeping us updated!
Keeping fingers crossed so that she will run/bike/row (non-figuratively) as soon as possible!
