Given the unusual strength and composition in the roster, that longshot all lwt boat might be on the edge of possible.

New member Ilkka just casually knocked off a sub-7 hour 100K effort, in case you missed the thread elsewhere on the forum .
Great effort there, and as always more fun to read about the post-event debrief than to actually do it!

From description in training subforum, the execution didn’t sound casual. Choosing to do it a week after his 50k appears casual. Or maybe that points to absolute “stomping form” as Sean Yates used to say.Slothful1 wrote: ↑May 15th, 2020, 2:10 amNew member Ilkka just casually knocked off a sub-7 hour 100K effort, in case you missed the thread elsewhere on the forum .

Hi All,
Managed it improve my 1 min effort this morning and move Boat 3 up a few notches. I’m tied with Verena on 264m, I can’t leave it there can I? A few more goes are in order. It’s all coming back......slowly
Cheers all

well done Debbie - I sense a level of competitiveness is back. I suspect Martin will ensure that Verena sees this too!debinapril wrote: ↑May 16th, 2020, 3:33 amHi All,

Re: Forum Flyers
You've passed the entrance exam, by tracking us down and saying hello!
Welcome on board. If you're up to sharing any interesting background stories, or just general things like your name and where you are in the world, that's useful to the rest of the team.
I was going to go dig up an old post about all the challenges, and relevant info for new people, but I think this is the motivation to write it down properly. I'll hopefully post something tomorrow morning.
Cheers
Dave

yes welcome Zac - a lot happening at the moment - hope you enjoy the ride. There is a very talented Aussie/Egyptian musician that shares your name (nearly) Joseph Tawadros.ZTawadrous wrote: ↑May 16th, 2020, 5:20 pmZak from Texas, USA. Welcome Zak!
It's not often I actually do something I say I will, in the time frame first estimated, but here's a hot off the press first draft of our New Member's Guide.
Everyone is welcome to offer suggested additions, or provide useful forum links to add to the general section. I think I caught all the typos, but please point out any you find.

Thanks for adding the old yearbook, Doug.
