So many people scoring PBs at the moment.
Well done Dino, Ronald and LM. Great stuff.
When will Martin get his thread back?

2k PB - 6:43.6 (-0.3'')
This was a really sh*tty effort, during WU my legs felt very tired, after about 700m I paced down (plan was >330W for the first 1500m) as my legs still felt so tired. At around 600m left I recognized that it's not as bad as I thought and paced up, around 200m to go I only wanted to finish a bit faster than old PB and it worked which was the only good thing about this effort
It looks like my training volume was on the egde in the last couple of weeks, time for an easy week and then a 6-week-sharpening for a proper 2k effort, target 6:35.

perhaps not what you were hoping for, but a PB is a PB, and that final 500m is something. Rate 38!

Thanks Henry!
Yeah, it was pretty bad, body and mind not prepared for a 2k at all, too much UT2 and TTs lately, hardly any short intervals. With 6 weeks of sharpening (PP-like) I hope to get around 6:35, and also improve 1k and 5k.

Thanks Alexwinniewinser wrote: ↑May 9th, 2020, 4:17 pmMartinSH4321 wrote: ↑May 9th, 2020, 5:47 am2k PB - 6:43.6 (-0.3'')
Time Meters Pace Watts Cal/Hr S/M
6:43.6 2,000m 1:40.9 341 1472 31
1:41.7 500m 1:41.7 333 1445 28
1:43.0 1,000m 1:43.0 320 1402 29
1:42.1 1,500m 1:42.1 329 1431 31
1:36.7 2,000m 1:36.7 387 1632 38
Shoddy effort....go again
Great that you're dissapointed as this is still a great PB
Well done doing 3 2ks in 3 days! Now we all deserve some rest

Thanks, just happy to have finishedrtbrouwer wrote: ↑May 9th, 2020, 4:25 pmWow man, pacing is way off. Looks like one that I could have rowed. You left too much in the middle. Nevertheless, PB = PB. Congrats buddy!MartinSH4321 wrote: ↑May 9th, 2020, 5:47 am2k PB - 6:43.6 (-0.3'')
