Dang Zach with with the 6:44, blistering and congrats Gary on the 7:09. Y’all are sho nuff rowers. Like Brett said I’m happy to be back to the grind and if I ever have to row this type of competition again maybe I can get faster. I would still love to do a sub 7 2k one day, but I don’t want to train specifically for that and I think that’s the only way that would ever happen.
Congratulations to all who had a part in the Spring VII, sand good luck to those who have procrastinated their 2k till the last day or so. Now I understand why you do that. HaHa

It was! Previous personal best was a 6:52 set in 2018. I hadn't done a 2k since then - I absolutely hate them. 5k's and 10k's are my jam.

K2
Hooyah...and it's a FIRST EVER half century for me! Well, first ever on a bike erg for the distance. Wasn't speedy, but was consistent with the pace I've been averaging with the bike. So glad to be able to get the Global Challenge done in some fashion! Whoop, whoop !!
