I am hanging in there too... Yesterday I tried a 4x4min/2 min rest interval set, just to get the feel of the 4 minutes row...
Heck yeah, congratulations in advance on your 4 minute PR!andreacs wrote: ↑April 28th, 2020, 4:47 pmI am hanging in there too... Yesterday I tried a 4x4min/2 min rest interval set, just to get the feel of the 4 minutes row...
I managed some decent row, but it got more out of me than I thought... Today I will do a short easy row and will try a proper 4min TT tomorrow and maybe another one towards the end of the week... I never did a 4min TT before, so a PB is guaranteed .
I am also trying to reach 550k for the season, just to get on the honor board...
Buck 48 is respectable for sure. I’ve never rowed a 4 min but My goal is 1:45BigBrett58 wrote: ↑April 28th, 2020, 8:34 pmI set the drag on 10 and got a serviceable run. Pace was 1:48 or so.
1:39.1 is a great effort, Zach! I hope your recovery was better than mine... Still coughing a bit, two days on. Saw a doctor, just in case, and as testing restrictions in Australia were relaxed this week to the point where a sore throat is sufficient justification, he decided I should have one.
Well done Brett! And good luck Ken, I know you can do it!kpaine wrote: ↑April 28th, 2020, 9:18 pmBuck 48 is respectable for sure. I’ve never rowed a 4 min but My goal is 1:45BigBrett58 wrote: ↑April 28th, 2020, 8:34 pmI set the drag on 10 and got a serviceable run. Pace was 1:48 or so.
Do you have a rough idea when you'll get the results back? I really hope it's just a bit of fatigue from putting out so many PRs in the last few weeks. We're rooting for you!Shabana wrote: ↑April 28th, 2020, 10:24 pm1:39.1 is a great effort, Zach! I hope your recovery was better than mine... Still coughing a bit, two days on. So now I'm in self-isolation until the results are back.
