Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
To give some context to the April CTC, it was suggested by Gary Curtis during a facebook discussion around three weeks ago.
'Gary Curtis How about this then
3 x 1721m 4 mins rest
5163 meters
3 April. 1721 Robert Walpole became the first Prime Minister of Britain.'
A history lesson and a session all in one.
Regards,
Joe

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Hi - sorry. I’m unable to PM as I’ve just joined the forum . Trying to set myself up on the CTC site. Name now appears in the list but getting constant “password incorrect” when trying to log a distance. Could you assist... maybe PM directly to prevent clogging up peoples notification box pointlessly . As currently the only distance that will be logged will be how far my iPhone gets launched across the garden in frustration . Thank you.

I'm not sure if my crystal ball works after the Great Crystal Ball Disaster of 1989.
Can I assume you're Kristian Malcolm.

Thanks Rick and Dougie . I'm worried that I'm getting an ambulance-chasing reputation here!
Kenni - you're welcome to throw your name into the Forum Flyer hat for the CTC and other challenges. Team thread is over here.
Cheers
Dave

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
March produced another outstanding performance by the MAD team with the leading boat and the top three individual positions on the leaderboard. Congratulations to them and to Sub7 for launching most boats.
The 59 crews completing the course were 20 down in number compared with February. Possibly this is an indication of how the temporary closures are affecting our gym-based rowers.
MAD have the challenge for May, Free Spirits in June and #TokyRow in July.
Regards,
Joe
