before you start make sure also that the PM has the correct date set as well as the 21097m so that they both match the verification code

Use Ergdata and it checks the PM5 clock for you.

ErgData has been a bit unreliable for me recently, all firmware and app is up to date, i just lose connection halfway through sometimes.

Tried not having interference etc, it's just random - I still use it, but i have my laptop as a backup.
