My birthday is coming up in 8 months and I'll be moved up to the next age bracket. One of my arbitrary goals for myself by then is to see how many top 10's I can end with before my big milestone birthday. But if I bump up to a new division in September, with the season having started in May, would any new personal bests erase the ranking spots from the younger age scores from May 2020 - Sept 2020, and thus not let me find out what they end up being ranked at the conclusion of that season in May 2021? If so, is there a way around it, like making a temporary alternate account and only posting new personal bests on that one for the remainder of the season in the new age category, or just not posting any new ranking distances at all post-birthday until the following season starts?
I know it sounds like a silly thing to care about, but certainly I'm not close to breaking any records, and with this small target I'm motivated to train harder with these 8 months just because of knowing that I have this time table before I'm dumped into a new group where I can spend a leisurely 10 years working my way back up again
