Thanks! However, now that i had lunch, i feel that this excercise was more a mental than a physical excercise. Well, it was physical, but mostly for my butt and my kneesKeithT wrote: ↑October 31st, 2019, 10:34 amAny long piece like this is super impressive to me.bobtherower wrote: ↑October 31st, 2019, 6:54 amWell, technically a PB - simply because it was the first time i have ever done a 100km session on the bikeerg![]()

Lol, well we need to train them too. A good mental test can be just as good as a physical one as well.bobtherower wrote: ↑October 31st, 2019, 11:01 amThanks! Wrote myself a plan and followed most of it...start steady, hold 1:46/1:47, push last 400 and stay positive. Nearly blew it after going off fast, the inner voices wanted to quit when the estimated time tipped past 7:00 but I got through that and made it. I have no doubt this had nothing to do with technique as I was all over the shop....gasping like a fish out of water
.... dragged myself to this milestone.
Appreciate the help you folks have given me to get this done!!!
Congratulations!
That is definitely a nice goal to beat.

Wow, impressive! Great mental toughness to grind thru the 18-24 minute interval and still finish strong in last 6 minutes (with a sprint at end)JimS wrote: ↑October 31st, 2019, 4:49 pmLast day on TTs

1min PB - 384m - +3m
Today I had my last fast session before 2k TT on Friday, so I decided to do a fast 1min session at 95% and the plan to start quicker and then slow down at the end. It felt pretty good, the last 15sec were hard, but this way it's a good bit easier than trying to hold the pace for the whole 1min (thanks for this advice Henry
).

Don't know if it was 95% or 97% but I'm pretty sure a few more meters are possible, hopefully close to 390m. Good confidence boost for Friday
