Upgrade Mac OS Catalina, Row Pro
I’m using current version RowPro 5.3. Just upgraded to Mac OS Catalina and now can’t get the PM5 to connect to RowPro. Heart rate doesn’t show on monitor. Any thoughts? Thanks,
Dave

You'll need to contact Apple or Digital Rowing.
The Concept2 Utility is also broken by Mac OS Catalina, so it's probably Apple's bug.

Do you think removing OS Catalina and reinstalling Older OS Mojave should get me back up and running? I’m restoring to Mojave now but takes 6-8 hours.

Re: Upgrade Mac OS Catalina, Row Pro
For those interested, I was able to uninstall OS Catalina, restore OS Mojave from AirPort Time Capsule, and regain the RowPro connection to the Mac.

So the bug belongs to Apple. Just be thankful you've paid a lot of money for that one - some of that money may give you some free software support.

Re: Upgrade Mac OS Catalina, Row Pro
Rowpro V5.4 release is due in a few weeks.
V5.3 has been flawless since upgrading my PC to a HP Z240 except for the 10k once a week where it shuts down by itself after the first person finishes.
My older PC began to have all sorts of problems and wouldn't even USB connect to the PM5 so it had to finally go.
The lesson learned here is that although you can update the OS your better to use hardware that was released and designed for that OS. With the constant Win 10 releases the old hardware just gets worse and worse over time in compatibility

Re: Upgrade Mac OS Catalina, Row Pro
MacOS Catalina is not supporting anymore 32 bits apps, only 64 bits.
Probably that's the issue and C2 and Digital Rowing have to release 64bit version of software.

RowPro is nothing to do with Concept2. You really need to report the bug directly to them at https://www.digitalrowing.com/Support/index.htmlskraburski wrote: ↑October 31st, 2019, 7:39 amMacOS Catalina is not supporting anymore 32 bits apps, only 64 bits.

Someone mentioned that Concept2 Utility is not working, and C2 has to work on that.Citroen wrote: ↑October 31st, 2019, 1:06 pmRowPro is nothing to do with Concept2.
