Jim that is well done indeed - super well done actually and very smart training.
The results are being entered and crunched as we speak from what I understand - they are using a site called Time Team which is fed the results from all 7 venues as they are completed. I just checked though and couldn't see the consolidated results yet.
There were about 650 competitors entered around Australia which is 20% up on last year so progress has been made!

The rower on the first ergo then starts the race and all ergos will get the sit ready, attention, ROW sequence.

Yes won the 2k and 500m - my long time erg buddy Peter Beare (you saw him in Adelaide) got me by 5 on the 4 minutes.
Happy with all that but not so much with the 2k time of course - I reached 1000m @1:44.9 which was where I wanted to be but messed up the third 500m just not quite strong enough I guess.

Pretty ambitious to do 3 events. I was knackered after one.

Saw the result. Would be nice if they could consolidate

Looks like I came second in 30 to 39 and 11th over-all. But not many entries outside of the u19s.

Jim the results are consolidated for each group on the time team site as you say but not one overall list and a silver it is - nice work and terrific splits.

I usually do all the races - no point in watching others when you can have a go and just have to live with the results not being quite the same as a one off test. Good test of fitness.

That's amazing to do three events and do well in all of them!! When I do a race I am done for the day.

Thanks Keith it makes it a good challenge but I wouldn't use the 'a' word I guess. A few of us do it regularly and earlier this year there were actually 5 races in a day which was a test. For the big races you just have to make sure not to hold back on the 2k knowing there is more to come. Once it is done the others are all OK and just have to take the bit of a drop off into account.

5 months later...

Only rowing twice a week now. The rest is weights and circuits. Have just bought a bike to get to work which is gonna up my mileage.

Just did 17:50 on a 5k. Not terrible but miles away from where I was. Amazing how fast you lose it when the volume drops.

On the plus side I'm now conserably lighter.

One final thing. I've just bought my 80 year old dad a rower so he can stay fit during the corona crisis. I've started a thread, would be cool if you could all check in and offer advice.
