Re: How much improvement is possible in a few months?
I've still not managed to get verification codes of the C2's at work.
Do they need to be connected in anyway?
I know the firmware is out of date but don't have access to update it.
Do they only verify certain rows or all rows?

If you go to the Rankings page for the Logbook, you will see a link for indoor rower record requirements. That will go to a requirements page. Verification is automatic for Ergdata, LogCard, or Memory stick. If not using those, go to Memory page, then Data, then "+". On that page, go down to the fourth button with no title and push twice. A verification code is displayed at top of page. The code applies only to the last row. No hookup with other devices is needed for the code.

If it's a PM5 download the firmware on to a USB and do it yourself. It takes about five mins, and is really simple. Not sure how to do it for anything other than a 5winniewinser wrote: ↑September 30th, 2019, 12:56 pmYep....not seeing any codes thereCyclingman1 wrote: ↑September 30th, 2019, 12:53 pmIf you go to the Rankings page for the Logbook, you will see a link for indoor rower record requirements. In which case, current version of firmware (specific to model of monitor) on PC and USB printer cable to update PM3 or 4. Chances are gym minders won’t notice or care what you’re doing. You can also ask for permission if your membership is really important to you. My experience with U.S. YMCA gyms is that requests to management for damn near anything including fresh batts will be referred to the VERY LARGE COMMITTEE FOR DODGING RESPONSIBILITY. Maybe things are different in Blighty?winniewinser wrote: ↑October 1st, 2019, 7:22 amNothing as fancy as a 5 in my work gym unfortunatelyDangerscouse wrote: ↑September 30th, 2019, 3:22 pmIf it's a PM5 download the firmware on to a USB and do it yourself. I'll ask the gym guy if it's something they can arrange via service.jackarabit wrote: ↑October 1st, 2019, 10:48 amIn which case, current version of firmware (specific to model of monitor) on PC and USB printer cable to update PM3 or 4. I also have a mate who has the kit to allow Ergdata app connectivity via phone so may try that.
