Lateral/plantar foot pain

Post by Kevinmeier » September 26th, 2019, 5:24 pm

Does anyone get pain on the lateral/bottom side of the mid foot on one or both feet when rowing? I've noticed it more when I use my nike metcons so I would use the reebok crossfit shoes, but today it was hurting bad enough I had to stop. It hurt while I was still at the gym trying to do other things including skierg, but has been gone since then. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi,

I suffer from plantar fascitis in my left foot which hurts mainly after any exercise or walking. If the pain is worse first thing in the morning and is concentrated on the heel then you may have the same.

I've not noticed rowing aggravates it anymore than anything else.

I have no idea about your foot pain, but i have had a few issues myself; sciatica, patella tendonitis and shoulder impingement. I discovered this channel on youtube and its a great source of info...its helped me out alot.
