I was able to convince my wife to do the CTC today, she did it in 10:33,2. I'll register her tomorrow at the CTC site and insert her result.
Now she hates me a bit but at least we have our first boat floating

A small price to pay for the privilege of participation in this prestigious athletic contest. Or maybe not? Oh well, when she gets older, losing her hair, she’ll be glad she hauled on the bowline and preserved vital muscle mass, ROM, etc. My wife fighting this battle.MartinSH4321 wrote: ↑August 18th, 2019, 1:17 pmI was able to convince my wife to do the CTC today, she did it in 10:33,2. August CTC:
Second attempt. 2kpb pace +.4”. Adequate warmup this time. 8” improvement on average pace (2:12.9 to 2:04.8) and the slow death attested by the graph of final 318 segment suggest that it was close to an honest 95% effort.

Thanks Martin. Anticipating that your power-based excursion into the upper wattisphere of this month’s challenge will approach 500W av. My 1RM carrying buckets of AC condensate to the garden isn’t going to get me to 200W in this lifetime but it’s something doing to keep me going.

Think this one will suit you M. First 800 a bit on reserve, 300 also, hammer the second one, and the last rep you will get done anyhow.MartinSH4321 wrote: ↑August 21st, 2019, 2:59 amno way - I guess 380W av is possible, but we'll see.jackarabit wrote: ↑August 21st, 2019, 2:45 amThanks Martin.
