It's been a long time, but I'm coming back to the team. I'm looking forward to taking my seat towards or back from the moon or wherever we are now.

I may have missed it but are the Luna-Tics planning anything special for on Saturday, July 20th the landing of Apollo 11 on the moon?

Also, there is the 21st when humans first set foot on the moon.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of lunar landing...Louie asks if we have anything special planned to commemorate this events on either Saturday or Sunday July 20 or 21?How about a commemorative erg of 5012 m - using whatever erg form you wish? 50 for the years, and 12 for the 12 astronauts who have walked on the moon?

Back in the formative days of the Concept2 forum circa 2007-2008, there were several studies being conducted about how to keep astronauts fit in space. There were some forum posts in 2008 that referenced how rowing machine usage (since no other erg types existed at that time) helped keep astronauts fit. Naturally, we have all used our ergs to keep fit on our way to the moon, too, but it is nice to know there is some data to back us up!
