Introduction and Challenge Team Search
My name is Davin and I've been rowing for about 3 years. I really enjoy it but am looking to join a virtual team to participate in team challenges and provide motivation to push myself harder. I'm 38 and live in the midwest in the USA. Can anyone point me to a fun beginner friendly virtual rowing team for concept 2 challenges, fall challenge, etc.? My username on the logbook is: adventureisland. Thanks for your help.

Hi Davin - you would be very welcome to join the Forum Flyers. Mid sized long standing virtual club - we have a thread here and members of all standards and from all around the world - North America, Europe as well as Aus, NZ and Sth Africa. We enter the CTC every month - I think from Day1 as well as the C2 challenges 3 times a year. Good success over the years although the huge FB based clubs are unbeatable at the top now.adventureisland wrote: ↑May 21st, 2019, 10:39 amMy name is Davin and I've been rowing for about 3 years. When you sign up for the CTC just nominate FFlyers as the team (it takes 2 goes to get through the registration process). The C2 challenges we just sign up when they start.

Also thanks for letting me know about the CTC challenges. Those sound fun and will likely be a good source of humility .

Hey Davin, that June CTC was almost too much fun! Thanks for pitching in for old FF.

Hi Jackrabit - It was a good one, always amazed at how 'real' challenges on the concept2 rower feel. I just need to stop hitting snooze so often and get up and row
