No - but we are not against doing so. It’s been more of a Brit thing that we have less visibility to! Tell us about it!

Don't know a huge amount about it but as I'm slowly improving my rowing after the injury I wanted a challenge to focus the mind - and back! Just wondered if anyone was interested in trying it. The challenge for May is the following

Row three unrestricted repetitions of 1000m with five minutes rest intervals.
First rep from a standing start.
Second & third reps from a standing or rolling start (your choice).

Record your time for 3000 metres, not including the ten minutes of rest.

http://c2ctc.com/

I've done one (but not posted it yet) and although slow it was enjoyable to do!!

BAGPIPES!

Post by just27 » May 19th, 2019, 7:35 pm

I just noticed a new picture on the team roster ... Kenneth has bagpipes! That's awesome. It's a hauntingly beautiful sound. (Or, it's nails on the blackboard ... depends on your point of view, or, I suppose, the piper's skill level.) Do you have a kilt, too, sir?

Do you know what's worse than seeing a really big snake in your yard? Finding the same snake in your basement the next day!!

Crikey...! As long as they keep their distance they can be quite spectacular to watch. Mind you, some of the ones we have over here are super venomous and not to be messed with...

Ps, today's update from me is for 7 days - I've been slack updating since my USB to the Monitor has failed...
Cheers, Baz

That's because we are reluctant to let our warm weather go...! Still getting warm-ish days in the Harbour City, but I suspect it won't be long before the cold arrives. Cheers, Baz B)
