His, do you think you will hit a sub 10 min ctc this month?
Don,t think I will, at this rating.
Free rate, would be a lot faster. But at the moment I don,t row much. Body is not in a good place, sorry to say.
I guess I’ll do the funereal r19 also. Not natural for my lgth but . . . .
It was down by old Joe's barroom, on the corner of the square
They were serving drinks as usual, and the usual crowd was there
On my left stood Big Joe McKennedy, and his eyes were bloodshot red
And he turned his face to the people, these were the very words he said
I was down to St. James infirmary, I saw my baby there
She was stretched out on a long white table,
So sweet, so cool and so fair
Let her go, let her go, God bless her
Wherever she may be
She may search this whole wide world over
Never find a sweeter man as me
When I die please bury me in my high top Stetson hat
Put a twenty dollar gold piece on my watch chain
The gang'll know I died standing pat
Let her go, let her go God bless her
Wherever she may be
She may search this wide world over
Never find a sweeter man as me
I want six crapshooters to be my pallbearers
Three pretty women to sing a song
Stick a jazz band on my hearse wagon
Raise hell as I stroll along
Let her go Let her go
God bless her
Wherever she may be . . . .

Hello Flyers - Long time no see!
Back at it on the erg - my 71 yr old mother has discovered rowing and is starting to fall in love with it so I'm getting her acclamated to it and realized how much I missed it and it's time to get back to it!
I'm going to see if she wants to join the Flyers if that's ok. She may only be able to do some of the ctc's but they would be good for her
Cheers,

Sounds like a good idea to me! It should help with maintaining motivation and we can always do with additional ladies to help float boats.

Had a go at the CTC tonight and managed 11.54.7
Nothing special but something to aim for later in the month

Ok thank you Henry. She just joined the flyers and she actually completed her 2801m CTC workout! I'll enter it in for her tomorrow when she comes over. I've been teaching her how to enter her workouts through the ErgData app and I'll show her how to go to the CTC page also.
Gonna be a slow process but she now loves rowing and it's already been helping her health-wise.

She liking it and it helping her is all that matters, nice. And keep at it yourself and help yourself also. The two of you can help eachother.

well done Jack - I have done one at sr19 to start the month and will do a free rate too I think
Terry and I had good opportunity to do a proper 2k TT today at a race day which should be good enough for the IRL - mine 6:59 and Terry's was 7:33

Thanks Lindsay. My aerobic endurance is pretty bad atm so diesel works better than turbo despite the obvious gear hunting between 19 and 20 spm.
Pleased with 11.4 mps av.
Blew off the VTC in Jan. and looks like I will nearly goose egg the Military this month. Trying to get back to it by doing the 6 day Valentine Challenge. General health is good but plantar fasciitis dictated an extended break last fall and kit-chen remuddle chewed up my time in January.

Correction: MPS on CTC not 11.4 but 10.9. Doesn’t matter much.
