Intervalls longer than 10min
Intervalls longer than 10min
Hi!
I am trying to follow the training plan from the german C2 site.
How can i programm a workout like 15x2 EXA - means an Interval of 15min with 3min rest.
When i am trying to program this in the time-interval section of the PM5, i can only adjust 10min intervals, but no longer time periods???

Re: Intervalls longer than 10min
It's not possible to go longer than ten minutes rest (with undefined rest) or 9:55 with predefined rest (variable intervals).
You'll need to redesign your workout.

Maybe this would be an idea for the next firmware update....

Re: Intervalls longer than 10min
I doubt it, it's been the same forever. Your workout is beyond an edge case - we've never seen any question like this in all the years I've been on this forum (and the old forum that died in 2006).
Re: Intervalls longer than 10min
so what happens, if i "just row" 15min, rest 3 min and "just Row" 15min again - would it be saved as 2 workouts or one?
Re: Intervalls longer than 10min
In the New workout and Intervals time page, try 15 minutes Time and 3 minutes Rest time. "Interval" is ambiguous; it refers to the type of exercise, not to work or rest. When i am trying to program this in the time-interval section of the PM5, i can only adjust 10min intervals,
In the German screen: press "Training waehlen - Neues Training" - Intervall Zeit, then set Zeit and Pause, OK.
NB you don't have to set the number of intervals, only the Time and Rest time.
In Just Row, if the PM switches off then you'll see two workouts; if not, one only. Cutoff is about 4 minutes (??).

Re: Intervalls longer than 10min
Set the time to 15 minutes, the rest to 3 minutes, and the pm5 will track up to 30 repetitions.

Re: Intervalls longer than 10min
That's two workouts. Although if you leave the clock running it won't time-out in three minutes.
With three minutes of rest you can program that as a regular workout.
Re: Intervalls longer than 10min
Sorry, i have tried It again and It was possible to set the timer to 15min.
It was probably my fault...
