Not so big of a day, that was two days, and must say it was a hot row yesterday up in the shed. Cheers Baz

I hope you did, too. .
Some of you will remember that a couple of years ago I was being "encouraged" to "just deal with it, Buttercup" in terms of getting my meters done. Naturally this led to me getting a sweatshirt made that proudly proclaimed me Buttercup. And so it was as I was packing for a quick Arizona trip that I put said Buttercup into the duffel. My viewpoint from the bus aka the Skyride to Denver International Airport is albeit limited. Imagine my surprise in seeing the sign below...it was like it was meant to be...add to that a flight number 1776 on election day. Could almost hear the Twilight Zone music...
So, it's been a travel day and I am once again in the land of cactus. I captured the numbers REALLY early this AM, so some of you may not be well represented...but there is the fallback of tomorrow.

Wow, did you happen to notice Rod Serling on that flight to Tucson!?
I think I can hear Buttercup-the-Reindeer's dainty little hoofs warming up for the next challenge.

Thanks. And I'm pretty happy with adding the BikeErg in the mix - getting to keep some overuse injuries at bay while still getting the team closer to the moon. It does feel a little dishonest counting the BikeErg meters at 100% on the team page, probably should be 50%, the same as in the challenges. I would be at 902,732.5 counting that way. On the other hand, at 100%, bigger palindromes are within easier reach. Today was 18181 = 9091 Rower + 9090 BikeErg. And I really like 18181, since it is not only a palindrome but looks the same if you flip it, or if you rotate it 180°. Nutty, or easily entertained?

Yesterday's numbers were captured early...and, the day slipped away. So today's posting will have both...fear not. As noted before, even tiny changes in routine can throw the whole day askew...
Bonanza! We have days to complete this year's Holiday Challenge. Reindeer will be everywhere!
Ok. I wanted to know. The sculptor is a guy named Stephen Fairfield, and this is to remind path users that the bridge is a roosting place for bats - these sculptures are on the Tucson bike path known as The Loop - a recently finished marvel that is 100 miles long, with links that make its total 131 miles. I haven't ridden all of it, but the new stretches that they have put in place are absolutely awesome. For those of you who might be interested, there's a five minute video about the Pima County loop path that gives you some good visuals of what kind of terrain and blue sky I am seeing now.

This brings me joy that I helped to keep the palindrome streak alive.
