Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
No, the guy who wrote the code has stopped developing it (he'll fix it if it breaks). Also, it doesn't matter because the whole essence of the CTC is the three heavyweights, one lightweight, one lady regardless of age. That's worked successfully for 13 years - so if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Adding age would also bring it into the European GDPR stuff as that makes the entrants personally identifiable. We really don't want to go near GDPR.

Ok, thanks for explaining! Understood The GDPR... well meant, but sometimes quite annoying!Citroen wrote: ↑October 30th, 2018, 3:31 pmNo, the guy who wrote the code has stopped developing it (he'll fix it if it breaks). Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Helllo all,
I am tying to add my entry to the CTC website but it is not letting me set up a new person/password. We have a team entered already Bexhill Rowing Club, but I don't think anyone has ever posted times to the team. I have got 5 people to post times today but I am struggling to login in. Apologies for the group message but the forum wont let me private message Daren as I have not posted in forum groups before, hence this message. If anyone can help that would be great. Cheers.

It's a good job you didn't PM Daren as 1) he never logs on here, 2) he doesn't do the database management for the CTC.
Send me a PM ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&action=quotepost&p=460978 with details of your problems and I'll reset passwords as needed.

There is an incorrect Bexhill club entry at the top of the rankings (and an amazing one from Ollie Zeidler)Philmc wrote: ↑October 31st, 2018, 3:40 amHelllo all,I am tying to add my entry to the CTC website but it is not letting me set up a new person/password. Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
I've changed the password on all of the Cracknell id's. If someone has a valid CTC entry from James I want to see a photo or a video of him rowing it.lindsayh wrote: ↑October 31st, 2018, 5:21 pmThere is an incorrect Bexhill club entry at the top of the rankings (and an amazing one from Ollie Zeidler)Philmc wrote: ↑October 31st, 2018, 3:40 amHelllo all,I am tying to add my entry to the CTC website but it is not letting me set up a new person/password. Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Thanks Phil but I wasn't referring to the Cracknell thing at all - one of the ladies in your team had accidently entered a time which was clearly wrong at the top of the rankings and then corrected it - wasn't questioning James time at all.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Phil needs to stop adding multiple users and duplicate results, because when I see that I'll knacker the userid by setting an only known by me password. We, occasionally, get some internet spammers hitting the CTC website.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Hello !
I have a problem :
the moth entry has already switched (not 12:00 GMT of the 1st day of the month).
So I'm unable to enter the scores rowed yday evening in my rowing club (20)...
For memo I'm in Tahiti which is UTC-10.
Can someone help with this or are these scores lost ?

I wasn't that late making the switch, although I didn't do it until 12:49 GMT today.kevinscott wrote: ↑November 1st, 2018, 1:52 pmHello !

I can add late results (as long as there aren't hundreds of them).

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
I've just inserted 26 extra results (and two updated results) for Kévin Scott's Cap Marara team. You may need to redo the results tables.
