Just an FYI, I'm running a PM5 with the most up to date version of software (Firmware 27 / Hdwe v502). I run a USB stick in it 100% of the time. I get ALL the data graphs uploaded to both Garmin Connect and Strava via the C2 Logbook via ErgData app that I run simultaneously with the PM5. So it "should" and does work.Allan Olesen wrote: ↑October 24th, 2018, 3:10 amYou never answered my question about the USB stick.

OK. As I wrote, I only had knowledge from the PM3 on that issue.GrizzledBastard wrote: ↑October 25th, 2018, 12:30 amJust an FYI, I'm running a PM5 with the most up to date version of software (Firmware 27 / Hdwe v502). Re: Garmin Connect.
It is not clear to me what you are trying to say here.
Did you record the session both on your Garmin watch and with Ergdata?
And then the session from the watch went to Garmin Connect, and the session from Ergdata went to the C2 Online Logbook?
But the session from the C2 Online Logbook did no transfer to Garmin Connect?
If all of this is correctly understood:
I don't know if the auto synchronization to Garmin Connect will work if there is already another recorded Indoor Rowing session from the same time. So you could try not recording the session on your watch, so it is only recorded with Ergdata.
When you in the C2 Online Logbook go into your profile, choose the Applications menu and look under Garmin Connect, does it say "Your logbook activities are now shared on Garmin Connect."?
And could you again have a look at the Visibility setting for the session you linked to earlier in the thread? It is only viewable to your training partners, so I can't see it.
Re: Garmin Connect.
I can confirm: it will still synchronize resulting in duplicate entries for the same workout if you log using both the Garmin watch and ErgData.Allan Olesen wrote: ↑October 25th, 2018, 4:29 am...

This screen-capture of my Garmin Connect account shows the same 10k duplicated:

The minor time and stroke discrepancy is a result of manually stopping the watch versus the PM5 & ErgData automatically stopping the log when 10k was reached.
Re: Garmin Connect.
Yes. I am gonna try not stopping the session on the watch and if I remember sync ergdata immediatelyAllan Olesen wrote: ↑October 25th, 2018, 4:29 amIt is not clear to me what you are trying to say here.

Re: Garmin Connect.
Well I tried not syncing fenix and syncing ergdata to logbbook. Nothing I reinstalled garmin connect unlinked and linked logbook. Nothing
Finished session on watch and it appeared on g connect
Anymore thoughts?
I also linked training peaks... Not too sure what to expect but it only showed info available on fenix. No power. Or distance
Thanks

Re: Garmin Connect.
Bob, I have to stop here. You do not provide the information I ask for, and your descriptions are so vague that they could mean anything. It is impossible to give any help on this basis.
Re: Garmin Connect.
Sorry Allan.
I believe I have made my logbook accessible to everyone
It seems that the logbook is not communicating with garmin connect! Or with training peaks but these apps are just taking info from my fenix
But thanks for your efforts and patience

Re: Garmin Connect.
OK. Now I can see your workout in the C2 Logbook.
The session was 40 minutes long, but the length of the horisontal axis in the diagram is only 2 minutes. And instead of only having one curve showing pace, you have multiple pace curves drawn on top of each other.
It seems to me as if the logged time was being reset every 2 minutes so the time count started over again and again.
Did you do a workout with preselected intervals?
If yes, could you do a normal workout without any intervals configured and show us how it looks in the C2 logbook?
It is quite clear to me that you will need to sort this out first. As long as you can't get the session correctly shown in the C2 Logbook, it will probably be a waste of time trying to synchronize it to Garmin Connect.

Re: Garmin Connect.
Hi. Allan..Yes I did use preselected intervals... Did an over and under set around 150 watts
I will try a 1000m row later to see!
Thanks again bob

Re: Garmin Connect.
Using an older Garmin 910XT with PM5. I have had a similar experience with lack of detailed power being logged to the C2 log book. This is when I just log my row on the PM5 and upload it to C2 log using a USB transfer cable to my PC running C2 Log. It seams like it logs only a summary of the power and I was told a year or so ago to use a third party app or my Garmin.

Versus (note this one was with my 310XT)
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/2947714626
If I am patient, I can get my 910XT to pair with the PM5 using the OTHER setting in Garmin and Wireless Device in the PM5. I've read that you need to pair your HRM first, then the Garmin. I also have a Garmin ANT+ HRM.
Garmin Connect shows the session as Other, Other, so I manually change it to Rowing after it uploads.
Example: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/3140119799
I upload everything into Garmin Connect and have it export / sync to Strava, BeginnerTriathelete, … I'll admit auto-sync transfer from Garmin Connect to the C2 Log doesn't work for me and I have to manually import workouts. Same with Rowsandall since I only use the free version.
I know I'm missing out all of the Concept Challenges.

Re: Garmin Connect.
The way to get the most data and graphs in both Garmin Connect and C2 Logbook is to first in C2 Logbook enable the Garmin connect pairing ... then use a mobile or tablet on either android or ios. The app can be ergData, boatcoach and painsled. My favourite for rowing erg is Boatcoach (only on android), and for the bikeerg ergData. Set up a session and sync with C2 Logbook. The C2 Logbook sends the data to Garmin Connect and you should see all the available data, heart rate, stroke rate, power, distance, pace, df and time.
If you don't want to enable the data connection between C2 Logbook and Garmin Connect you can manually transfer the data by creating a FIT file on C2 Logbook and then importing into Garmin Connect.
Unfortunately the usb/card way doesn't log all the data.... hence no graphs on C2 Logbook and not much on Garmin Connect.
