I even see a guy rate above 100
Wouldn't mind seeing that first hand!
I'd likely collapse from dizziness off trying to watch him though.
I think we have a candidate here

PB by 1.5 secs. This was so tough I rolled off the rower and lay on the floor. Las time I did that was during my 100km.

Still not sharpened up fully since my week off the rower so I might try this again on Sunday as it's October's Team Oarsome monthly challenge.

Preceded by a 7:15 2k warm up and followed by a 1:56 pace 3k cool down

Good work Man. Congrats, still say, you can be better if you get a bit of structure in your training. Stuff like this needs specific work to be ready. But still nice!

Thanks fellas. I'm fairly sure I can go faster even without the structured training, as the warm up was too fast and I think it was counter productive in the end, not least as I only waited about two mins. I do agree that some structured plan for a 5k would be beneficial. I'm still aiming for a 17:20 sometime soon

I just need to improve on my 10k, my 60 mins and HM by the end of the year. My 6k is very soft so I know that won't be too hard to beat and that will be all my PBs increased this year.

Congratulations Marius and Dangerscouse!
I can't believe 775W on a ski erg. Surely it must be harder on the ski erg to produce that type of
power output than on the rowing machine.

Myself making progress. I managed to get up my drag factor from 95 to 120 (a big jump, took about 15 sessions of 20 mins or 6K with low rating to get used to it). But it paid off. I really am a little bit more efficient at DF120 and its more enjoyable too. So far the only timed pieces at this DF are 2K (6:47.5) and 10K (36:11.1) both PBs and not that much suffering.

They're both very good PBs. That 10k is especially good. Looking forward to seeing you improving on them as you get used to the higher DF

I managed to get the 5K down to 17:31.8. The new drag factor is paying off. The cold air is also helping.
