A view from the bridge crossing over Clear Creek along the Peaks to Plains (P2P) Trail at the Big Easy segment, a 3/4 mile stretch of what's beginning to be known as a legacy trail. The segment further up the canyon is known as Mayhem Gulch. The vision for Peaks to Plains is to build a trail stretching from the Continental Divide to the South Platte River trail in Denver and Adams County, Colorado. This trail is accessible all year round, and engineered so that water access and cut outs for fly fishing from the bridge are readily available.

Thanks for the shout outs K2. Yep a high percentage of my meters came from rowing with you guys. I've said it many times and I will say it again since it's been a while. I have friends here and many I admire for not only their great achievements but also kindness and the willingness to offer up a hand. I love K2's stories and so much more. You are all wonderful. My large sweat shirt and pin arrived and the large is indeed large. I will ware it now and then anyway. Grin.
Take care my friends and
Keep on rock'n and roll'n.
Did I miss anything Danwho?

This is it! Thinking about being on the Lunie Fall Challenge Team? Take a minute to sign on...sign on...sign on...because by Challenge rules, the roster closes for all the teams at the Cinderella hour tonight and then the Challenge gets truly serious for its last two weeks! Buckle up!
This is it for the regular baseball season, too. Today is the last of the 162 games in the long season, and while some members of my family will rejoice that my eyes no longer resemble baseballs, I will miss it.
Another kind of "rowing" ....tis the season of Children of the Corn.....yikes.

So many interesting smells....Thing Two (Aerie) right in the middle of a bunch of stickers...

Whoa! Apologies for thinking you were kidding! I wonder what kind of biathlon this should be called? Erg/run/erg....and a 10 minute mile is plenty fast in between marathons and such...
Speaking of marathons....13 innings and the Rockies emerged as winners! Holy cow, Batman! I have spent a large portion of my awake time this summer watching or listening to the Rockies. And there I was last night at the ninth inning, unable to stay in the room with the TV because it was SO STRESSFUL a game. Ridiculous, but true. We'll see what happens next!

Stressful indeed. So I left to row. Clearly a better choice for me.

Well we don't get to enjoy to much post season Rockies baseball around here, so it was fun. I rowed for the 1st few innings, and cut it at 14k, Then I'm thinking heck Ed probably would have just rowed for the whole 13 innings and piled up some 50k meters
Happy rowing to all and Goooo! Rockies
