You can also use the Concept2 Utility with a USB Cable from a computer to read the data.Kona2 wrote: ↑September 25th, 2018, 9:08 amJust press the menu button on the performance monitor and you'll be able to see your workouts. You can always enter your erg session data manually into the logbook, or if your PM monitor has a USB port on the back, you can save the data to the flash drive and then upload it from your computer. I've only had one episode of losing the data sync to ErgData. I believe others (Minnie?) have had more issues with it. I still like to use the app - and it loads directly into Strava as well. It was just a technological hiccup!Truthy wrote: ↑September 25th, 2018, 4:29 amGuys, this morning I did a nice 12K but the ErgData app on my iPhone didn't see it and looks like I lost it. Do you know a way to recover it from Erg one way or another? It's never happened before. I had to leave for work so didn't have much to tinker with it. Hope it's a one off thing.

Kona2 - thanks for the reminder about form! We've worked in a couple of rest days - so Thursday evening/Friday/Saturday my wife and I will be off the machines and out of the house. I'm a little salty about it, because I know it's going to cost me dearly in the individual rankings. I suspect that once I get back on Sunday and start rowing again I'll never be able to make it back into the top 10.Kona2 wrote: ↑September 25th, 2018, 10:23 am...hooyah! Good work!
The Lunie Fall Challenge Team is now 81 strong and locked in a battle to stay in the top ten of all teams competing in the Challenge. For those interested in staying in the top ten percent individually, your meter reading needs to be greater than 81,500. Btw, Ed and Zach are in the top ten of all 5500 individuals in the Challenge. This is also the part where I say be careful with a sudden exponential increase in your meter production - even if you are breaking the meter amounts into multiple sessions daily, you can end up sidelining yourself for many weeks with inflammation. As you get tired, your form slips...and that leads to injury. We would much rather keep you active long term than see any of you flame out. This has been a teammate safety message.
Re: He's A Meter Multi-Millionaire !! AGAIN !!
Thanks Kona! Also thanks for the tips... I have a water backpack on when I row to keep hydrated. I also have Gatorade to drink when I want it. I eat small meals through out the day to keep the energy going. Been feeling pretty good so far this challenge, not to say that the body does talk to me from time to time and I slow the pace some.
Happy Rowing,
Ed

Yes, you will. In the glass half full (always), and then figure out how to make it happen if you want it bad enough, here's my unasked for thoughts:TallErgs wrote: ↑September 25th, 2018, 12:26 pm

In 2016, the cut off for the top ten individuals came in at 1.19 MM and it was Ed as the 10th. In 2017, the cut off was 1.12 MM and Ed was # 21 or so with just shy of 1 MM. The target point would probably be 1.2 MM as most of the 5th and 6th people have been in that range and it would keep you out of the jaws of "defeat." You are currently erging at an average of 37.5 K a day from day 1 to day 10. Even if you were to take 5 days off, and erg 26 of the 31...you would come in at 1.2 MM for the length of the Challenge as long as you can do about 55K for the remaining days. It will be close, but it is doable at your current planned rate. Add five minutes to each of your multiple sessions. A million will not be enough. I suspect you have totally run these numbers.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Thanks everyone for helping me out to save my lost session. Fortunately the exercise was still in PM5 and I was able to recover it by downloading Concept2 utility to my laptop and connecting it to PM5 via USB. The application handled the rest. It's nice to have alternatives in such scenarios.
That salvaged session put me a little bit over 100,000 meters. My personal goal is to achieve 300,000 meters at the end of the challenge. So mad respect to you guys pulling off millions of meters.
Also good luck to especially Ed and Zach who are in Top 10 currently. That's surely a mind blowing performance.

Thank you for the kind words! I've run the numbers quite a few times - they're intimidating. I'm making a run for it, we'll see how my body and will hold up! I'm EXTREMELY grateful that I have such an understanding wife while I go insane during events like this.Kona2 wrote: ↑September 25th, 2018, 2:04 pmYes, you will. Hey, I think I have to come clean about mooning. That 23,138 is a sum of 2 days!
I lost the result of one session only to recover the next day. So somehow they appeared to belong to the same day on your list.
Hopefully I'll do real mooning soon though!
