Would like to join a team!

Post by AnnieB » August 10th, 2018, 6:52 am

Hi everyone,
I've just learned of the team challenges and would like to join a team to start particpating! I'm from Canada eh, and love rowing for so many reasons!
43 yo female, 5'11", 160 lbs
500m: 1:45
1K: 3:41
4min: 1055m
2K: 7:43
5K: 20:46
30min: 7118m
10K: 43:56

Where do you think I would best fit? :)

Thanks, Anne

Hi Anne

Forum Flyers are a geographically-diverse and very welcoming team. Drop into the team thread and say hi.

Cheers
Dave

I think there are many teams that would like to have you join their ranks.

I have been a member of the LUNA-TICS for a number of years. They want to row to the moon and back. A friendly and social bunch they are. The team link below. Good luck in your choice.

Hi Anne. I agree with the Slothful 1 (he isn’t really). I think we do not have a Canadian member currently. We do have strong representation from UK, Australia, NZ, South Africa, US and NL.

Forvm Flvers or any team participating in the Concept 2 Cross-Team Challenge (c2ctc.com) provides the perfect long term stimulus for a competitive indoor rower. We also do the Indoor Rower League monthly challenges and of course the Concept 2 seasonal challenges and we count among our members a couple of ladies who glow brightly @ roughly 300 Watts (1:45/500).
