Spoiler alert! You just nailed the beginning, and the ending, of season 1.Kona2 wrote:Depends on what else is on or in the river....just27 wrote: Already started streaming "Secret City," on Netflix. Starts with a person rowing on a river ... can't be bad, right!?
I'm looking to hit the Manitou this Friday, been training on the 200 step Castle Rock (mini incline) over the last month I usually do 7-8X up for 1400-1600 steps, the challenge for training though at Castle Rock is 200 up then you get to rest coming down where the Manitou is roughly 2750 steps straight up, so it's tough to train without taking a break, so Ive started running the path down at castle rock to keep my heart rate up, which was going well till I aggravated my planters on the right foot. very painful this morning but it always loosens up, it shouldn't keep me off the Manitou though, I just might not run the 3 mile trail down afterword though. Happy rowing to you all, I plan on putting more meters in after I do the Manitou.Kona2 wrote: Doug 8,334 m...how's the Manitou Incline these days?
MIGHTY glad to see you back, THOR!!!Thor MW wrote:On day 63 I finally hopped back on the old grey mare. I posted a big 5K or so. I added this to my sheet and it told me that my average daily meters was 82. This means if I continue holding that average for the year I’d have 29827m. Always good to have lofty goals.
Keep on rock’n.
Ditto! Stumbled on a reference ... not exactly a pleasant reference, but still funny in this context. Seems a book has already been written foretelling your return: "Somebody with a little hammer". https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/04/book ... ammer.htmlnormadelaney wrote:MIGHTY glad to see you back, THOR!!!Thor MW wrote:On day 63 I finally hopped back on the old grey mare. Thanks folks. It's like coming home again. Who says you can't go home again? Little hammer works for me. Grin.danwho wrote:Ditto! But even a little hammer can do a lot of damage, so start swinging.
