PM5 language: all but English not available
PM5 language: all but English not available
Hi,
I recently upgraded my PM5 to the latest firmware and then tried to change it to german, but the PM5 says it is not available and can be downloaded on concept2/firmware.
I tried deleting the files in the Firmware folder on my USB stick and redownloaded the files onto the stick using the concept2 utility. I then plugged the stick back in the PM5 but nothing happened and i still can't change the language.
Any ideas?

What firmware version?
My PM5 with V27 has "Language" on the second grey button on the MAIN MENU. Second choice on the first languages sub-menu is "Deutsch".

I habe that option, too. But if you actually press the button, you get a message that German is not available and to download it on the concept2 website.

That doesn't happen on my PM5 (IC:6620A-PM5) with V27. It speaks German nicely.

Strange. Is there a way to reflash v27? Or to downgrade and upgrade again?

You should be able to do what you need with V7.08.4 of the C2 Utility and a USB-A to USB-B printer cable connected to the socket on the back of the monitor.

I'll try that and report back.
