Whoop, whoop and welcome to the 17th Lunie meter multi-millionaire of the 2018 season! Having sufficiently savored that last single meter to trip the ergometer's odometer over to TWO million (and HOW does he do that anyway?!), David T posts his update and we can finally celebrate! Congratulations, David T, on achieving a TWO million meter erging season! We wish you many, MANY more!

Thanks Kona 2, and BG.
That last meter sure was a challenge.
Gets tougher every year.
Coming up on 20,000,000 soon.

Whew....these 60 degree temperature fluctuations are tough! Left Denver at 35 and now in Tucson at 95. Or maybe it's just the adventure of getting to the airport at oh dark thirty...it is very beautiful here with the desert totally blooming. I am on histamine overload! I've talked a bit about the 100 objects that are associated with Tucson, and how I am chasing down the links to these. One of the 100 is the flowering Palo Verde tree, the Arizona state tree.

Image The saguaro is getting ready to bloom as well, with lots of those little tubular flower pods on the tops of the arms. Really, they remind me of the Shrek ears. Getting a photo of both flowering palo verde and saguaro seemed like an opportunity.

Image The other thing is the seed pod that is on the mesquite tree. I think these look like half baked cheetoes in a way, but they eventually form a hard seed pod and hit the ground where the area rodents love to go after the seeds in the bean pod.
