Today's meters carried me past 10 million lifetime meters!! Today I posted "lucky sevens" (7777 m), ending my streak of 10 K or more meters per day, every day since January 27.
I'm off for a week of medical testing. Erg on, LUNA-TICS!

I remember typing in that number ! I must have hit backspace on a correction and lost it into cyberspace. Apologies - I did have it noted.

Today is the 13th Arvada Kite Festival here in Colorado. Unlike our sky view two days ago, snowy and bleak (wait...this could be a descriptor of the Rockies home opener!), we've got blue skies and the potential for temperatures in the 50s. There's a bit of a breeze, probably just enough for flying a kite. I plan on biking down to the sports complex where this festival is taking place - I've never attended a kite festival before. Colorful is always good.

It was very cold and snowy on Friday...the robins were all puffed up at the bird feeder/watering station that I have mounted on the edge of the deck. Yes, squirrels do get in that tree...but I keep a peanut feeder across the yard near the ground for them to get a majority of their snacks.

~Kite Festival!? Kites are fun; but, I always forget to pack one to take to the beach.
~I just passed my first million meters on the bikeErg and appear to get free stuff, again. Woot!

A free parking corral for bikes! That was a good plus. Gusty winds (headwinds both ways and uphills on the bike path....hahaha) made for some wildly diving kites.
