Ergdata additional fields
Ergdata additional fields
Hi, been using ergdata for over a year now and almost always just leave it on the default screen. Last few rows i have "scrolled left" so I can see the additional fields, drive speed, drive length and peak force are entertaining to me as a distraction.. is this data recorded in Ergdata / C2 logbook anywhere.. cannot see it anywhere obvious in the log. The other fields on that screen are Drag factor, stroke count and average force which are displayed in my log.

Hi use ergdats too.... extra info.
I use watts and force graph on pm. Pace on phone.
Stroke count useful ( not that succesful) to get stroke rate. Can't work out ...yet... how to use av. Force.
Is there a personal optimum stroke length... and info accessible in log book

Try a long finger press on one of the boxes and it will let you choose what gets displayed.
Re: Ergdata additional fields
Thanks for the reply but I have no problems with displaying the data, I was asking if its recorded in my logbook?Citroen wrote:Try a long finger press on one of the boxes and it will let you choose what gets displayed.

Re: Ergdata additional fields
Ergdata leaves these extra pieces behind in my log book
- Average Watts 108
- Calories Per Hour 670
- Stroke Rate 22
- Stroke Count 184
- Drag Factor 98
Re: Ergdata additional fields
Thanks same hereCitroen wrote:Ergdata leaves these extra pieces behind in my log bookWith distance rowed divided by stroke count you can get average drive length.

Re: Ergdata additional fields
If you want to log the extra fields, you should try painsled. No real time display, but everything is saved in the session file. Easiest way to analyze it is using https://rowsandall.com.

Re: Ergdata additional fields
DPS or distance per stroke is useful information.
This is simply derived from the total distance divided by the total number of strokes.
The higher the number the better your performance.

Re: Ergdata additional fields
Sorry to revive this but I can't find an answer to my question of whether with ErgData on Android it is possible for it to record drag factor. When I compare logbooks with people on iOS they seem to have drag factor recorded but it doesn't appear on my log, just:
Average Watts
Calories Per Hour
Stroke Rate
Stroke Count
Anyone know how to get ErgData to record drag factor on Android? I really love working out with ErgData - I use it every time - but this one thing would make it perfect.

Re: Ergdata additional fields
Workaround: immediately after WO edit logbk record to add the df you used to comments.
There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

Re: Ergdata additional fields
What happens if one alters df. During set?? With regard to adding it in comnents... i did ctc recently and changed it every rep!

Re: Ergdata additional fields
Ergdata records drag for my rows programmed time or programmed distance rows. Not sure what it does for "just row" as I never use that.

Re: Ergdata additional fields
Thanks jackarabit - I do this every time right now anyway to keep track and never use just row so I guess it must just be a limitation on Android, unless there is anyone out there on Android who has solved it.

Re: Ergdata additional fields
Are you programming a workout or doing a "just row"?
