Oh my gosh, 87 pounds... when they sell the used ergs after the CrashB, they can say your erg was almost never sat on. Good luck at the CrashB. Sorry we can't see you on the Live Feed this year.

Wow, 87 pounds, reminds me of a friend's wife. She isn't heavy enough to keep the treadmill active at the gym. Rock on BG. I still plan on going to Boston to race some day. I look forward to meeting you there.

We look forward to hearing about your experiences there! I know that you've finished now, but results aren't available just yet. Finished is a good accomplishment in many, MANY things in life.

And once again bg has represented the Lunies well in the CRASH B's !
Another episode....techie "wars"...
Speed Bump by Dave Coverly is one of my favorites.
Like many of YOU, I received Alexa the Echo Dot as a gift this past holiday season. I wasn't really sure what I was going to actually use the thing for, but lots of suggestions are promoted by Amazon. So far, the best usage for me is a daily reminder to take a blood pressure pill at a certain hour. That's helpful. Meanwhile, I was just getting used to telling Siri that if she directed me down a farm road one more time when I was trying to find a golf course again, she was going to lose privileges. And so we turn to golf for a moment. I have a communications role for a golf league, and in a recent meeting one of the gals said "you haven't shared a golf joke in awhile." Well, off season golf time isn't the best time to hear golf jokes to pass along, so I thought hey! I could ask the techies (Siri and Alexa) to tell me a golf joke.
K2: "Alexa, tell me a golf joke."
Alexa: What Star Wars character is a golfer? Jabba the Putt.
K2: Snort. That's awful but sort of funny.
K2: "Siri, tell me a golf joke."
Siri: Jan, I do not know any golf jokes. None.
K2: No sense of humor there.
I'm not sure what either virtual techie will do with erging.

Hunh. I thought flyweight could mean that you'd fly away if exposed to a gentle breeze ... eat more marshmallow fluff sammies, Lunie-girl!
Congrats on participating in and finishing the Crash-B's. Hooyah.
