First rep no output, subsequent 4 reps all show rate flatlining and insane pace and hr jumps (#5 below). ED numerical output matches PM. Firmware is current.
That's the same as I get: the graphs have obvious mistakes (occasionally two lines) although the split data itself is fine. I wonder whether it's something to do with partial strokes e.g. a stroke you start just before an interval ends, or one you start just before the interval starts.

I've had it even without using a heart rate monitor by the way, and my firmware is up to date.

Query/headsup to C2 should get a response as ED their baby. I have been watching <indoor rower> subforum for similar ED complaints but nothing so far. Might also be a “known ED problem” list on the C2 site. Prolly all affected should consult.

Checked droid and crapple known issues with ED, no joy. C2 mantra is “update firmware.” On a personal note, a good day for me as I fixed the batt drain on myslab running ios 11.2.5 by toggling e-message off and then on. 400 crapple [de]buggers prolly already know this. Not entirely certain it was the toggle. Could have been the ritual sprinkling of chicken blood :? :?:

@Gaucho1 - Good session. Good luck on your race, what is your target?
@JerekKruger - haha, you are funny
@RayOfSunshine - Nice progress. Easy to get addicted to rowing :)
@mdpfirrman - Might be wrong of me saying it like that. I have huge respect for everyone that does time on the erg at all levels(a long as they do their best of course :D )

PP 1.5
Low rate work today, 30min on the rower and 20 min on the skierg. I think 30SPM on the skierg is comparable to around 18spm on the rower.

10 min in the middle @18spm. Starting in UT2 fading into UT1 at the end(helped to lower the SPM in the middle)
Time Meters Pace Watts Cal/Hr S/M
30:09.9 8,118m 1:51.4 253 1168 19
5:00.0 1,352m 1:50.9 256 1181 20
5:00.0 1,353m 1:50.8 257 1183 20

5:00.0 1,355m 1:50.7 258 1187 20
5:00.0 1,355m 1:50.7 258 1187 20
0:09.9 45m 1:50.0 263 1204 18

Skierg low rate.
Time Meters Pace Watts Cal/Hr S/M
20:00.0 5,194m 1:55.5 227 1080 30
4:00.0 1,038m 1:55.6 227 1079 31
8:00.0 1,037m 1:55.7 226 1076 30
12:00.0 1,039m 1:55.5 227 1081 31

20:00.0 1,040m 1:55.3 228 1083 30

Hard distance session tomorrow, then a couple of days rest. Plan was to do the CTC for skierg and rower. Probably going to do the rowing rate capped at 24spm to leave something for the skierg

Thank you!

BPP 7.3, 2nd 8k of the week. I tried to sit on 2:14 but once I got into a rhythm, 2:13 felt more comfortable. I picked it up a little at the end but didn't unload the tank because my HR hit 170.

@Marius Thanks for the good wishes. Would be glad to reach 7650m, very satisfied with 7670.
Very impressive your "1:52.7 244 1138 18 "
What dragfactor did you use?
Best regards,
Dietmar

@rayofsunshine, that looks like a solid steady state row. You did kick it up a bit at the end. Is that the typical range for your HR on these steady state rows? Are you well hydrated? I'm wondering if your HR is increasing due to a combination of the work and slightly low fluid volume which worsens with sweating.

It said to aim for same pace as the 6x500 I did 3 days ago which was 1:56.7, so I decided to go out at 1:57 and work down. I ended up at 1:56.5 for the 1st 500. I ended up at 154.9 avg. I need to change my splits on the PM5 to match my intervals. I'm not sure if it's the HR monitor or not, but I don't see the splits to the right of the graph on the logbook.
Ray - I'm right next to you on the BPP timing and did the 500 x 7 on Monday, and the thing totally screwed up tracking in weird ways I can't quite figure out. This was what was saved in my PM5, in addition to what's saved in ErgData. I didn't think to check the splits since it's a 500m interval and when I did this in sets of 6 it had no issues, but that could well be it...

Anybody else have issues getting the program to properly record intervals? Is it maybe because 7 is an uneven number???

Screenshot to show you what I mean:

I've had very similar happen to me before. I've looked back through my log and it appeared to happen a few times between May and June last year, I thought it was just on intervals but it was on fixed lengths too. It did it about 5 times over the course of the month, but I could never pinpoint what caused it. Touch wood, it hasn't done it for a while with the latest version of ErgData and latest firmware.

BPP week 20.3 is just a 30 minute row. I'm starting to get back in the groove after a few days off skiing. Wound up this one at 2:11 with some good sweat at the end. A good row for me.

I need to do a better job of staying hydrated!! Thanks. I'll be well hydrated for 3-4 days and feel great. Then, I'll just "get busy" with work, etc and not maintain. It's usually a day or 2 later that I notice my legs are tight. It's almost always correlated with lack of water intake. I need to buy a bottle to keep with me as a reminder.
