I'm absolutely certain that there is a David Back Channel, whereby they plan their meters.

AJ synchs his wireless meters at mathematically significant intervals. Uh huh.
You know you've been sucked into the LunieVerse when your year-old car's odometer rolls over to 12,221 ... and you stop and take a picture!

I know K2 has a great fondness for cartoons. While I also enjoy them, I think I usually find them clever more than funny. But I saw this this Lorie Ransom cartoon today and bust out laughing, but not for the right reasons. She couldn't possibly know the significance this cartoon could take on in our small piece of the universe.
A little math joke, and there's Ed with his 33,333's leading the charge for the Armoonda. Onward, team!!!

Day 8 of 31 .... and we're Lucky
Slippage in the ranks happens. More people than EVER before are in the Concept2 Universe - and that is a very good thing. Competition is fierce. Still, it is a LONG Challenge and many, MANY things can happen. Stay the course, Lunies. These Challenges have their role in our Luniverse!
Meanwhile, two more canoes into the virtual waters! David A and Dan O' both reached the 100K milestone and pulled their canoes off the shore and into the water. Many Lunies are getting closer to another milestone!

I have completed a pice just before you uploaded the stats, must have missed my upload to LogBook by seconds

Are you all just logging your workouts in the LogBook or are you using some other web apps for statistics etc? I have to admit i am a statistics junky, too bad LogBook only shows, HR, SPM and Pace

Any of you use anything else? Would appreciated the info. Cheers.

It has been awhile. I stopped rowing after Master's Nationals in August of 2016 due to a shoulder injury (bursitis). (Which meant I stopped erging too.) It started getting better and I started up again in the spring of 2017. Then I found out work was moving me from the elementary to the middle school level. This meant I had to be at work at 7:10 am. Sadly, this meant I couldn't row anymore since getting off the water at 7:00 would not allow me to get showered and to work on time. So I never really got back into rowing.
My rowing friends encouraged me to come out to the boathouse for an erg session on Dec. 30. This reminded me that I actually don't mind the erg. I am trying to stay motivated and put some meters in. I do hope to get back on the water this year whether it be in my single or with another club (GULP! That may be hard) but either way, I am pathetically out of shape. I'm hoping the Jan. Challenge will help keep me motivated to get some meters in.
Happy New Year Loonies!
Karyn
Good to 'see' you back.
Good luck with the erging, and getting back into shape for you - which is much better shape than some of us here for sure.

Well, good thing this boat has a ladder. Welcome back !!!
(P.S. I kind of doubt that Bailey the Cat found this photo as funny as some others, but the caption indicated that Bailey is a Siamese cat who loves to sail.)

Hi all,
just wanted to post a quick update - will have to reduce my workout loads quite a bit in the coming weeks - been out skiing with my little girl and screwed up my knee again - Patellar Tendonitis - which i've been of an on now for quite some time. I believe it is time to finally get completely rid of it.
Sadly because of this i'll really have to lower my workout loads and will not be contributing as many meters as i could otherwise
![Sad :-(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
.
Cheers,
D.
