Well done Blod. And someone for me to chase.

Today's effort was 31:06.7 - 2 minutes off yesterday's time and heck was it strenuous. Think I'll get back into this rowing lark a bit more sensibly now - not sure I should be doing 30 min all out efforts after 3 (well almost 6) months on the couch ...

Erg on!

Anyone else going for a better time on the CTC? We're less than one second out of the bronz at this point. I can give it one more shot, but I wouldn't count on anything.

So that leaves it up to Paul, Phil, Dougie and Carla. Any takers??!?!??!??!

I can smell a sub 24 Carla...do you??

Speedy

Good new for the CTC

Saturday I did a new 6K with the goal in mind of holding 1:59 to cut 10 seconds off (someone had posted that we needed to take of 10 secs each). I really didn't think I could do it at all but I had the added benefit of my sister there and she agreed to holler at me at the end.

Here are the splits
1:59.9 29
1:59.7 28
1:59.4 27
1:59.8 27
1:59.4 28
1:58.8 26
1:58.7 75
1:59.4 26
1:58.9 25
1:58.6 24
1:49 32

The last 100 m were at 1:37. Felt like childbirth; I sincerely doubt I can cut even another second off this. Final time 23:40.6. I'll post it now.

That should bring down our average for the CTC by quite a bit.
