I'll go you all three, bg ... the myriad seasonal festivities make me want to give a nod to my liver ... thanks for running on behalf of livers, everywhere!
Meanwhile, back at 10-Forward, I just discovered that there's a special NYE lemon "Ball Drop" cocktail. Interesting, but, I'll stick with Champagne, tyvm.

Seems like with the references to "Bunny Trails", I should put in a "Bunny Walk". This is our Holland lop ear bunny.

Hey k2
you would drive yourself mad - Personal target!
I started recording my metres on 3rd January 17 and did 77,777 to April 30th , realised that with my current metres I was on target for 2,400,000 for the calendar year which by application of my schoolboy math(s) is exactly 1500 miles so when I played catch up today i went for that.
Nothing for our heavy hitters but gave me a target
Don't worry I will straighten it out tomorrow!!
Happy new year to all

Whoop, whoop and what a finish to the calendar year! Congratulations, Ed, on achieving a SIX million meter season! We wish you many, MANY more!
Thanks K2 - pushed a little harder this month, feeling it! I also surpassed 46 mil lifetime meters yesterday as well.
Ready for January challenge- just not as many meters.
Happy New Year Team Mates! Wishing everyone a blessed 2018. Good luck with all your goals.
Happy Rowing,
Ed

Congratulations! Always good to have a target to meet - no matter the amount. Remember every meter counts in making a better you!
Good Luck,

Thanks Ed
My post would have made better sense if I had not missed a 7 out of last season's figure!!
No matter what I aspire to I seem to plateau out at250k per month- provided I can get to a C2 which proved hard in July and August.
Must go easy for Hogmanay, don't want to be erging with a hangover (though it has been done!)
Regards to all who read this.
Keith

AJ is concentrating on making biscuits for a second Hobbit breakfast, but, if it's not too late, asks that his New Year toast be a shot of Suntory whisky, please!

Greetings Lunatics - It has now become 2018 for about half the world and is approaching GMT. Several drinks have been served or are awaiting you at 10 forward this New Years. A lot of champaign has been ordered. This year a flight of Japanese whiskey is shared in honor of George Takei. Now Romulan Ale, as you well know, is the Star Trek equivalent of Cuban cigars here in America. IT only appears in virtual form as the replicators can not make it. Oddly enough, Amazon sells an energy drink version but I m not sure this would qualify with true Romulans as they drink it just to prove they can. Absinthe (the green fairy) appears floating in space as this is my choice of beverage this year. (Woodworm be damned!) The flywheel makes a great blended and you can grate things on the chain if it is pulled fast enough. Cheers to all and wishing you a happy and healthy 2018!
