Re: Forum Flyers
well done Graham
for information
for information
Below is the FIRT choice for December workout :
"The French Kiss n°2" :
Row the following reps:
One minute, two minutes, three minutes,
one minute, two minutes, three minutes
with a maximum of nine minutes resting, spread any way you like.
First rep from a standing start, the other reps from a standing or rolling start (your choice).
Record your total distance for twelve minutes not including the nine minutes rest
same as May 2014, an opportunity to see if you have improved your rowing abilities from that point.

Re: Forum Flyers
Nice openers Lindsay and Terry.
I had another attempt tonight. Handled down just over half way through the third 750 while averaging 1:46 overall. which was just daft i was finding it tough but i only had one min to go on that set. I have done a few silly stops recently and this was another one.... Ten seconds later I was kicking myself.

IRL Second go.
6344m in 26:44.1 at 2:06.4
8.5 sec improvement but there's not much more.
Was on for 2:05 until half way then started flagging and the last 1500m was a mess - my demon was screaming at me to HD but I gave him the finger and finished it.
Happy to finish and improve, but 2:00 is still beyond me at this distance![Embarassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

Participation in the team is good. We ve registered 8 scores so far this month.
Re: Forum Flyers
Did the IRL 6344m yesterday in 1:50.9, 0.5 faster than last year but that seems like not a lot of improvement for another year's worth of training.
