I think it's sick that we have 40 members and are behind Oarsome and they only have 26....I'm ready to pull my weight in the boat again! For all you that have been doing the job while some of us have been out smelling the roses, good job--let's pull together again and get some momentum. Row, row, row the boat ...<br /><br /><br />My machine arrived today. She is a beauty!! Completely refurbished and absolutely smooth.<br /><br />I couldn't resist doing 5xxx metres just to break it in. I haven't rowed for a number of, erm, weeks, and it was quite hard. Another 5k before I go sleep tonight to get into the habit of rowing first thing in the morning and last thing at night.<br /><br /><br />Beats getting up at 6.00am to get to the gym for 7.30am. I'm not sure I can remember how to log metres on this site, it's been such a while. At least I can verify all of my metres from my machine!!<br /><br />I'm aiming for BIRC, but won't compete unless I feel I will do myself justice. Maybe I'll just make a social visit. We'll see.<br /><br />Anyway, have a good one folks<br />Bernard

My foster son is a member, but hasn't really been rackin' up those meters. Of course he is only 3 1/2. <br /><br />FYI - Currently ranked #2 in the world in the 4 minute distance with all the other three year olds. He says he wants to start beating some of the four year olds.
