Loudest dang murmurs that I've heard if that flock I saw was a murmuration! So far, it appears that only starlings get the designation as murmuration formers - and these murmurations can go on for quite a bit of time. A British photographer, Dylan Winter, captured quite a sequence - and put it to music. It sounds better than the actual murmuration.

Any news about Richard's black Lab, Corky? I'm hoping that he already has a new forever home, and is playing well with others.

Just27; Checked on Corky this AM & received word that he has been adopted. Have a standing offer to be there for Corky should his new home not work out for any reason (but sounds like it will). Glad to know we have solid team mates and animal lovers on Team Luna-tic

Glad to hear Corky's been adopted.
Steve, you're a good man to make that offer for Corky.

Thanks for the update, Steve. I was going to mention the situation to a black-Lab-loving friend, here in Northern California, if he hadn't found a home ... but, it sounds like all's well. Hooyah, and happy life, to Corky.

Yes, I generally prefer to keep my metres neat but when I realised that my skeleton score to the 30th was 60k I just couldn't resist making it 66,666, seemed appropriate. Can't get near a machine for 3days, but expect to see a 334 on the end of the next row, then back to normal!1

Whew. Thank goodness baseball season is over - well, at least for a couple of months! Haven't a clue how anyone living in the eastern time zones could function when the World Series games go on for so many hours.
Captured the numbers a bit later today (see above), so there are probably some combos you might not have intended!

Beaver Moon tonight. For all you beavers out there, watch your back.
(However, on nights like these, I'm glad the C2 Rower isn't made of wood.)
