Yeh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GODFRIED!!!! Sir Pirate, No disgrace in your time Phil. You're still recovering from your problem back but still managed a gritty performance; sure you aint got any Taff blood in you?? I gotta say, your heat was one of the best races of the day; talk about raw power!! I nearly hid for cover when Kevin Peebles ergo started bouncing towards me during his start (think he was trying to emulate Chippy!).

I pulled a 5.25.5 yesterday. The plan was build around 1:42's, but in the race I really wanted 1:43's (coz I was dying like). The problem was everytime the monitor showed 1:43 there was a big outcry from behind me so I thought I better stick to the 42's. Worked in the end - Cheers guys the support really made a difference Imagine my suprise when I checked last years time - 5.34.4. PB by 8.9 seconds. Toppo My new race philosophy - 1. Pick an optomistic pace just beyound your reach, 2. Tell everyone about it, 3. Pull the chain and burn. Top event, Great effort by everyone.

Well done to all that competed in Evesham, particularly the Taffs. Congratulations on the PB Bore Da, and same to Niall I think? Great stuff, I look forward to the pics. Are there any more events before BIRC, since the GP series isn't running this year?
