This will turn the +QUOTE button red so you know it's worked. Then click the REPLY button (as you normally do) and you should find the Post box (where you enter your message) already contains the quote you selected.

Hope that's clear enough and makes sense. Have a play with it, we promise not to laugh if we see any funny messages (we're used to them from Chippy anyway as he sometimes struggles with quotes!).

I'm pleased there's no other M30Lwt from Taff Attack as I found it really tough slowing down during last year's Welsh IRC so I could let Chris beat me .

May go to Evesham but it is currently one of my only free weekends so may be expected to do the family thing. I don't think I could pursuade them to come along.
Does anyone know if we are OK to enter on the day?

Managed to get a HM this evening the first one I have ever done. Now struggling to sit down.

Phil
I did a 50 mile bike ride this morning, then went to my rowing class this evening, so I was a little tired. I stayed up past my bedtime to get in the 21k. We geezers need our sleep. It sounds like Porky's dad and I are the same age.
Byron
Did a 2k today, after yesterday's half marathon and 13k earlier today. Wasn't good. 7:48, which is actually slower than last year after 4 weeks on the erg.

Oh well. At least it took me past 2 million 'lifetime' metres.

Thanks Niall, think I'm going to have to leave #2 spot to Byron though - he's setting a relentless pace With the Gold Coast HM run coming up 3rd July not much erging will be happening then so you have a chance to keep up the good Ks and catch me up along with Mike, Porky, Debra etc.

How's the training for Evesham shaping up ? Going for the mile or 2K (or both) ? Sub 7 soon now you have less bulk to move up and down the slide ?

Cheers

Martin
Training's going REALLY well right now and I'm hitting all my targets. Even though I haven't done a 2K flat out since December, I'm pretty confident I could do a sub 7:00 now. Maybe after Evesham I'll have a go and see what I can do. Evesham's over the mile (1609m) distance. Not sure what my predicted time for that will be yet (still two weeks of training to do).

It's gonna be a great event for Taff Attack, we've certainly got numbers in a lot of the categories.

I've upped the ante on the metres recently and have managed to jump above Lynsey in the team standings (suspect it'll only be a short lived experience though). Managed to put a bit of distance between me and Chippy at the same time so lets see if I can build on this and catch up with Debra.

All this rowing is taking my mind off the appalling selection decisions being made in New Zealand (British Lions Rugby Union for those not in the know).
