Looking for a Team
Looking for a Team
Hello everyone, I am looking to join a team for the upcoming Fall Challenge. I really just started rowing spring of this year so my sprint endurance isn't great but I did get my meters in for the Dog Days of Summer Challenge, so probably looking for a team good for beginners. My main focus is power lifting, which I do HIIT sprints after sometimes but on my off days I try to do a solid, steady row for 30min to an hour. I am 38, male and I live in Austin, TX. Looking through the team forum, its hard to tell what would be a good team to join and what teams are active. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.

Try the Luna-Tics. K2 is a very helpful Captain.

The Forum Flyers are also very welcoming and active here abouts (though not I am afraid on FBook and the like)
Have a look at the thread here - lots of members from around the world at all levels

Re: Looking for a Team
Forum Flyers do the monthly Concept 2 Cross Team Challenges (perfect test bed for heavy HIITers who live for hard sprint efforts) AND the C2 seasonal challenges. Strong interest and participation in indoor rowing comps. All are welcome.
