It will, you can only bring your attempt every month, the rest is on others.IMHester wrote:Ok thank you - was almost on a full boat for the Flyers for once, but that was short-lived (I'm yet to score a single point for the Flyers). Will happen soon!

Re: Forum Flyers
Hello Flyers:
I was taking a look at the upcoming C2 challenges and noticed that us virtual teams don't have the opportunity to receive whatever the incentive prizes are that the non-virtual teams receive for the Fall Team Challenge. C2 stated that it would be too expensive to ship out to the multiple locations of virtual teams, which is completely understandable.
I suggested that they give us virtual team members a chance to at least pay for the shipping on an individual basis so we have an opportunity to get what we work hard for!
Anybody have any other suggestions? I'd be happy to convey any ideas back to C2.
Thank you!

Hi all,
Just popping my head through the Flyers door for a little hello.
Back on the rower this week after a 6 month hiatus with more back and shoulder issues (not caused by the rower thankfully). Finally fully cleared and ok to row again.
Gently does it obviously as completely back to square one in terms of fitness, weight, diet etc... We'll rebuild gradually... restarted with some 2 or 3 x 10 min at 2'30 / 18 spm.... nice to be back on it even though it doesn't feel like it at the end of the 10 minutes

Re: Forum Flyers
No excuse not to participate this month (gave last month a pass).
First attempt is a 0:34.7, I'll probably give this one a few more tries since it's so short.
Rating is 36 on average, lots lower than most entries I saw on facebook (40 to 50 range), so perhaps I should
focus on rating a little higher?

Re: Forum Flyers
Perhaps I'd need to lower the DF a bit then? I was doing this at max drag, dont know if I can up the rate that much when it's so heavy.

Re: Forum Flyers
yes you could try lowering to say 170/180 df and see if it allows a faster sr - worth doing a few times to see - it is a balancing activan141 wrote:Perhaps I'd need to lower the DF a bit then? I was doing this at max drag, dont know if I can up the rate that much when it's so heavy.
The very high DF does slow down the first few strokes unless you are super powerful I reckon - slightly lower means gets the average down quicker
(BTW there has just been a 1:06 one posted!!)

Former olympic canoist. No super big monster, but extremely strong, don,t think there are faster guys around. Very impressive.lindsayh wrote:yes you could try lowering to say 170/180 df and see if it allows a faster sr - worth doing a few times to see - it is a balancing activan141 wrote:Perhaps I'd need to lower the DF a bit then? Nice to see the Kiwi/Floridian Todd C back in the game - was a real sprinter trailblazer back in the day (although even he is probably impressed by those sub 1:10 guys)
